Mineral makeup is a staple in my everyday makeup routine because it’s so natural looking and evens out the blotchy red patches in my skin. I have lots of favorites, but I recently got the Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation and it is so amazing that I had to share it with you! The texture is somehow very creamy even though it’s a powder product and effortlessly melts into the skin. I’ve had so many compliments while wearing it and overall I just love the stuff. I also bought the Tarte Airbuki Brush to go along with it (the Tarte Airbrush Finish Foundation Brush looks gorgeous as well) and it helps buff the product into the skin with ease.

I saw lots of comments under the YouTube video about it working for dry/oily skin. I have relatively normal skin that can sometimes be oily in the t-zone and sometimes I get dry patches…I guess I technically have combination skin? I’ve never had a problem using mineral makeup on my skin and I don’t find it emphasizes my dry patches, but I’m sure lots of you have had a different experience. When my skin is slightly more oily, I just bring a setting powder to use throughout the day-problem solved!
Don’t worry, I still have mad love for my other favorites (Laura Mercier, Bare Minerals, etc.)! What is your favorite mineral makeup? Or are you not a fan of it? It didn’t make it onto my best foundations for large pores article but it is also a good option.
Tarte is available from Amazon and I have had confirmation that select Tarte products will be sold in the UK exclusively via QVC starting from MARCH! YAYAYAYA!
